For Michael
Garibaldi, Babylon 5 represents a last chance for
redemption. The son of a security officer, the
grandson of a female Boston cop, Garibaldi's
irreverent sense of humor and long-standing drink
problem have contributed to his colorful service
record. Prior to boarding Babylon 5, he was fired
from his last five assignments of "unspecified
personal problems" and was appointed as the
station's security chief simply because Commander
Jeffrey Sinclair insisted on it. Garibaldi knows
Babylon 5 better than anyone else and is finally
beginning to find a purpose to his life aboard the
station.
Off-duty,
Garibaldi has a love for cooking and cartoons; his
second favorite thing in the universe is the Daffy
Duck classic, Duck Rogers in the 24th and
century.
