A member of the
Minbari Religious Caste, Ambassador Delenn has
traveled widely and met a great deal of alien
lifeforms. She spent many years as a member of the
Gray Council and was present at the death of the
Minbari leader, Dukat.
In 2259, Delenn
transformed herself into a half-human, half-Minbari
being in order to create greater understanding
between the two races. However, her actions were
disowned by most Minbari and she lost her
positioning the Gray Council to Neroon of the
Warrior Caste. This marked the first time the
council had been disproportionately Warrior Caste
in 1,000 years.
